Connect securely
A firm admin connects the firm's DecisionVault account through secure OAuth. There are no API keys to copy.

Watch for submissions
Statular checks DecisionVault for newly submitted questionnaires automatically, every few minutes.

Link the client
Statular links each DecisionVault client to an existing Statular client or creates a new client record, including a spouse or partner.

Review and import
Smart Import proposes interview answers from the questionnaire, each with its source, so the attorney reviews them before anything is applied.

Choose when Statular creates or links clients from DecisionVault: when a questionnaire is submitted, when the DecisionVault matter is created, or never. When a matching Statular client already exists, Statular links to it instead of creating a duplicate.

What does the Statular DecisionVault integration do?

When are Statular clients created from DecisionVault?
Firms choose the timing: when the client submits the DecisionVault questionnaire, when the DecisionVault matter is created, or never. Statular links to a matching Statular client when one exists, otherwise it creates a new client record, including the spouse or partner.
Are imported answers applied to the interview automatically?
No. Smart Import proposes each field along with the questionnaire answer it came from. The attorney reviews the proposals before anything is applied to the interview.
Does Statular create matters from DecisionVault?
No. The integration creates or links clients. Your team imports questionnaire answers into the interview on the Statular matter it is drafting.
Does Statular write anything back to DecisionVault?
No. Statular's access to DecisionVault is read-only. Statular never writes to DecisionVault.
Which Statular plans include the DecisionVault integration?
Like Statular's other third-party integrations, the DecisionVault integration is included with the Growth plan and is available on the Essentials plan with the Integrations add-on.
